Cuando hacía busquedas para un grupo de sl, de forma casual di con este sitio, y deje separado el landmark para venir a visitar con mas tranquilidad y sacarlo en el blog.
Dan soporte, ayuda, a mujeres  con discapacidad, desde 1998.

***ABOUT GIMPGIRL COMMUNITY:
GimpGirl Community was started in 1998 by several women with disabilities who didn’t feel like there was a community out there that understood them and their needs. Members come together to share their lives, experiences, problems and successes, in a safe space that focuses more on the women they are, and less on what disabilities they have. Members are valued and respected because of who they are, and that has always included women-identified people with disabilities of all shapes, sizes, and colors, not to mention ages and sexual orientations. Partners and academics are also welcome to join us in furthering our goals.
We currently have weekly support group meetings by and for women with disabilities, as well as periodic meetings with the general public. See http://www.gimpgirl.com/ for a calendar of events.

There many great people that make up GimpGirl Community, but your main hosts are JennyLin Arashi, Muse Carmona, Ofelia Pevensey and Aleja Asturias.  You can contact them with any questions, thoughts or concerns.

The GimpGirl Community spaces are open to the public, with a focus on supporting women with disabilities, and informing their partners and allies, as well as interested professionals and academics.
OUR MAIN PARCEL:
The land has several main areas - see map (click on labelled areas to explore the sim):
-GIMPGIRL HOUSE
    -First floor: Lounge and discussion area (including TV)
    -Second floor: Art gallery featuring works by woman with disabilities (open to submissions)
    -Third floor: GimpGirl administrative offices
    -Roof: Dance floor and pool area

    -Where you can find information about GimpGirl Community
AUDITORIUM
    -Events, seminars, and classes take place here
AFFILIATES PAVILLION
    -Where you can find information on affiliated communities and groups
SHOPPING AREA
    -We encourage vendors who are women with disabilities to sell goods and items on our parcel (rent-free)
SKYBOX 
    -Support groups and discussions are held up in our skybox (these discussions are usually relayed to our IRC channel for members who cannot access Second Life directly
